WHAT ARE YOUR CHANCES?
We receive far more applications which come within these guidelines than the trust can afford to fund, so please do not feel too discouraged if we have to say 'No' to you. In 2006, we
received over 1,300 new applications, and were only able to fund 79. A further 87 grants were paid to projects being funded for a
second or third year.
A very useful source of information is the Guide to the Major Trusts, published by the Directory of Social Change (Telephone: 020 7209 5151 /
Website: www.dsc.org.uk). They also publish specialist funding guides, such as a Guide to Grants for Individuals in Need, the Educational Grants Directory, the Environmental Funding Guide, the Sports Funding Guide, the Youth Funding Guide, and many others. The Directory of Social Change also publishes The Directory of Grant-Making Trusts in association with the Charities Aid Foundation.
We hope this helps.
