Fundraising

A very useful source of information on grant-making trusts and foundations is The Directory of Grant-Making Trusts published by the Directory of Social Change in association with the Charities Aid Foundation (Telephone: 020 7209 5151). This provides a list of the areas of interest of each trust and how to apply, and should be available through your local library.

Further guidance for individuals and organisations working in the charitable sector is available from The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) who have several specialist teams providing information, advice and support through the NCVO HelpDesk - a free telephone, email and textphone service available to anyone anyone involved in the voluntary sector, whether as a volunteer, paid worker or trustee.
